Store Policies
Shipping Time. The time needed to ship merchandise will vary depending on the shipment's location and the particular time of year. Customers should expect a 7-10 day delivery time. The order will be shipped within 2 - 3 business days, often in as little as 24 hours.
Accepted Methods of Payment. We accept Paypal, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover through the Paypal checkout. Paypal helps protect your credit card information with industry-leading security and fraud prevention systems, and your financial information is never shared with the Seller.
Shipping Methods. Merchandise will be shipped using Ground Service where possible, with UPS being the preferred shipper. In addition, some items may be shipped directly from the manufacturer to customers. We only accept orders from and ship to the continental United States.
Accelerated shipping is available upon request for gift baskets with options of 3 day, 2 day or next day shipment. Send e-mail to inquire about fees.
Damaged Shipments. Damaged shipments from handling must be claimed with the freight carrier. If any cartons are missing or damaged, be sure to note this on the freight bill. If you notice concealed damage after the driver has left, keep all the packing and call the freight carrier to return and inspect the damage and file a claim. We are not responsible for damage caused by the freight carrier.
Substitutions and Returns for Gift Baskets. We do reserve the right to make substitutions and do find the need to at various times throughout the year. Substitutions will be of equal or greater value. Also, not all packaging may look identical to the products photographed as designer packaging does change quite frequently. With this in mind please be aware that a substitution or variance in flavor or packaging does not justify an item being returned at our expense. If for any reason other than damages or errors on our part, a customer wants to return a gift, you may do so at your own expense plus an additional 20% restocking fee.
Return Merchandise Policy - for Gift Baskets. All requests for return must be filed in writing via e-mail to support@theshopforgiftbaskets.com within 3 business days of the gift being received. NO exceptions. PERSONALIZED GIFTS ARE NOT RETURNABLE.
Sales Tax: We are required to charge sales tax on all orders shipped to addresses in Massachusetts. No tax will be charged on orders shipped outside the state of Massachusetts.
